BULLSEYE HIT
A few years ago, Nauta Maritiem received a drawing by email from an Italian designer based in Thailand. His boat design proposal was that of the Spirit 25, which instantly hit the bullseye. It had everything one could wish for in a tender. Enthusiastically, Nauta Maritiem travelled to the Far East to discuss prospects of setting up a dealership. As a result, a partnership was quickly established and several tender models have since already been developed.

PROFESSIONAL
Nauta Maritiem’s team of shipbuilders is composed of local professionals who have gained extensive experience in wood and polyester construction. The British foreman supervising the team of 20 men has over 25 years of experience in polyester construction techniques. Using his expertise to train the men, he also could count on the existing expertise of a highly skilled local workforce to form an expert team of shipbuilders.

SPECIALISTS
In the Netherlands, Nauta Maritiem completes the hulls that were built in Thailand. The hulls are shipped from Thailand in huge containers to the port of Rotterdam, and then transported to the company’s workshop. Completion of the boat construction is entirely done by hand by specialists. After an overall inspection and ordering of boat parts, the tenders are assembled and painted. Naturally, Nauta Maritiem also takes great care in meeting customers’ requests with regard to accessories.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL
The finishing phase includes the wiring, the installing of cushions, canopy, steering system, engine and other technical features. All technical features on the boats are supplied by Vetus, an international developer and manufacturer of boat engines and technical components for over 50 years. The assembly takes about three weeks to complete until the crowning moment of the production process: the delivery of the most beautiful tender to the customer.
